Review : Online photo prints order in India

Recently I was researching for online Photo printing services in India.
I used two of it to order prints of my photos in Pune.

First service I used is
http://www.snapgalaxy.com/
& second is
http://www.zoom.in/

both services are very similar in features.
First you sign up for the service & then upload your photos in photo galleries .
Both service are following features
Upload unlimited photos & share online Albums
Get photos from Picasa web / flicker .
Order prints online
Get prints to shipped in India or US
Pay in Rupees or USD ( Credit card / Pay pal ) -
Zoom.in uses WWW.CCAVENUE.COM as payment processor so one can pay using credit card , or any one of the affiliated Indian bank like HDFC / ICICI / Axis .
On account signup get some free prints. @25 prints are free
For shipping in India shipping cost is Rs 25 for Zoom. in & 35 for snap galaxy.
Usually prints get delivered in India in 3/4 days .
US people can send prints to India or Vice-versa.

Both are good services. These services should keep those rates reasonable. We always have two options 1. Get printed from LAB nearby which involves printing cost & effort of carrying softcopies to lab on Pen drive and second option is for online printing which Involves Internet Bandwidth + Printing + Shipping costs. Advantage with online service is convenience. Good rates will give online service providers a edge over Shop & Lab Competitors.

I recently ordered prints from Sendmyfoto and found that they have fabulous print quality and service going besides the lowest price for photo printing and shipping in India.

Size Price per print (Rs.)
4" x 6" Rs. 2.95
5" x 7" Rs.8.00
6" x 8" Rs. 15.00
8" x 10" Rs. 40.00
8" x 12" Rs. 45.00

On Sendmyfoto, I found that besides unlimited Storage and sharing, you can
+ print directly from your Flickr, Facebook and Picasa Accounts
+ Add Whole Albums or use multi photo uploader
+ Mix and match Matt and Gloss Prints in the same Order
+ Edit Photos online using Awardwinning Fotoflexer.
+ Very simple UI and enables quick check out

Also the first 10 prints are free and you can get 10 prints for every friend you refer. That's a great deal.

The only drawback I found on Sendmyfoto is that they are not promoting the pricing they have aggressively. They are too straightforward about their price. No Gimmicks. Anyways, it is always good to be straightforward and honest !

You must try this new website www.printbucket.com. They are new kids on the block. Very simple interface, no computer degree required to order prints. Must check it out.

i first tumbled upon picsquare, then came to know about zoomin. When zoomin started to offer 25 free prints on sign up, I made the most of it by creating multiple IDs and got my pictures delivered several times free of cost. The print quality is awesome and the add ons like sample metalic 5X7 snap, free album and just 25 rupees flat courier charges are big pluses.

Seeing the competition heat up, even picsquare started to offer 10 FREE prints of 6X8 size, and I snapped it up at once. The print quality was good enough. Then I stumbled upon snapfish.in which offers 30 FREE 4X6 snaps, but then the courier charges are quite high here (comes to Rs. 50 almost including service tax).

Going by the number of photo printing sites and competition hotting up, you can fill in a cupboard full of photo prints for FREE. Hurry Up ! Make the most of Now!! :-)

http://www.photostop.in/ - It was also one of the best photo printing site. I used their service once. In all aspects like quality of the print, packaging, delivery service top notch! I really recommend Photostop website for photo printing. They also have android application, it was very easy to use, easy to order. Very user friendly!

Include this website in your list, may be it will help for someone.

Digg it !
